Base closure for National Day of Mourning

PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. -- In recognition of President Trump's executive order declaring Wednesday, Dec 5, 2018, a National Day of Mourning, the following changes will be in effect:

West Gate: 24/7
East Gate: 0500-1800
North Gate: Closed

The following changes are also in effect:

Fitness Center: 0700-1700
DFAC: Breakfast 0700-0800, Lunch 1100-1230, Dinner 1600-1730
All other FSS facilities will be closed.

CDC (East and West): closed

BX and Commissary: normal hours

The 21st Medical Group will be operating at minimal manning to provide acute care needs to active duty only. The Peterson Military Treatment Facility, bldg 959, will be open from 0730-1100. All ancillary facilities including the satellite pharmacy, dental clinic, and the Schriever clinic will be closed.
