Guarding Our Own: Strengthening Connection Across the Force
U.S. Space Force 1st Lt. Edward Fincke, 4th Electromagnetic Warfare Squadron crew commander, completed a 250-mile suicide prevention awareness run at Peterson Space Force Base, Colo., Aug. 27, 2026. Fincke committed to running 50 miles a day for five days to raise awareness of suicide prevention and the mental health challenges affecting service members and veterans.
