Pituffik Space Base holds change of command
U.S. Space Force Col. Keith Morris, incoming 821st Space Base Group commander, renders a salute to the service members in formation during the change of command ceremony at Pituffik Space Base, Greenland, Aug. 13, 2026. The men and women of the 821st SBG rendered Morris his first salute after he assumed command of the group, which enables space superiority, force projection and scientific research in the Arctic region through integrated base support and defense operations.
