Pituffik Space Base Celebrates Greenlandic Heritage Week

Researchers with the Academia Sinica Institute of Astronomy and Astrophysics (ASIAA), tells members with 821st Space Base Group about the black hole telescope on Pituffik Space Base, Greenland, April 4, 2026. The tour was a part of the Greenlandic Heritage Week celebrations, an annual celebration hosted on base to celebrate Greenlandic Inuit culture and is attended by residents from local villages, with some making the multi-day trek by dog sled across the sea ice.
