Base hosts environmental pilot programs
Mr. Christopher Kiggins, AMAX Chair of Civil and Environmental Engineering, University Distinguished Professor, Colorado School of Mines, gives an overview of the ongoing PFAS mitigation pilot programs at Peterson Space Force Base, Colo., July 8, 2025. The reports from here and other pilot programs will be analyzed by the DoD’s Strategic Environmental Research and Development Program to assess feasibility of the technologies for implementation across the DoD.
