NSDC hosts Rep. Brian Babin, Chairman of the House Committee on Science, Space and Technology
Representative Brian Babin, (TX-36), Chairman of the House Committee on Science, Space and Technology, poses for a photo during a visit to the National Space Defense Center at Schriever Space Force Base, Colo., April 4, 2025. Babin and his team were briefed on the NSDC mission set and given a tour of its operations floor. They also received an overview of Mission Delta 2 Detachment 1's capabilities and current operational efforts. The team's visit concluded with a discussion on cislunar space and related Space Domain Awareness. The NSDC is one of five operations centers for U.S. Space Forces – Space. The S4S mission is to plan, integrate, conduct, and assess global space operations in order to deliver combat relevant space effects, in, from, and to space, for Combatant Commanders, Coalition partners, the Joint Force, and the Nation.
