76th ISRS Emblem
The 76th Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance Squadron revealed their unit patch during the activation ceremony at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force on Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, Oct. 4, 2023. The hornet, a protective, communal, and lethal predator, signifies the unity of the squadron’s members who leverage multiple intelligence disciplines to rapidly process, assess, and disseminate information. The hornet hovers in a defensive position over its nest, represented as a hexagon. This symbolizes the establishment of the Space Force as the sixth service and the squadron’s mission to defend the United States and its interests in space. (Courtesy graphic)
