Wildfire Community Preparedness Day
In 2018, wildfires traveled across nearly nine million acres destroying 18,137 homes and 229 commercial structures throughout the United States. Wildfire Community Preparedness Day, recognized annually on May 7, encourages people and organizations to take action and help reduce wildfire risks.
