U.S. Space Force Lt. Col Aaron Lynch, 9th Combat Training Squadron commander, unfurls the guidon of the newly activated 9th CTS during the unit's activation ceremony at Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado, Feb. 9, 2022. During the ceremony the 9th CTS acquired the mission of its predecessor, the 750th Operations Support Squadron which is responsible for training, intelligence and other operational support necessary to enable Space Delta 9 – Orbital Warfare to conduct its on-orbit product and defend mission across the spectrum of conflicts.
