Officials break ground on new $43.78m headquarters at Peterson Space Force Base
Officials broke ground on a new Special Operations Command North headquarters building at Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado, Nov. 8, 2021. The groundbreaking ceremony included Lt. Gen. A.C. Roper, deputy commander of U.S. Northern Command; Brig. Gen. Shawn R. Satterfield, commander of Special Operations Command North; Col. Shay Warakomski, commander of Peterson-Schriever Garrison; Heather Duggan, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers; and Craig Stearns, senior vice president of JE Dunn Construction.
