2 SOPS opens new training emulator
SCHRIEVER SPACE FORCE BASE, Colo. — U.S. Space Force Guardians and civilian partners from Space Systems Command and Space Operations Command celebrate the grand opening of the new Positional Training Emulator on Schriever Space Force Base, Colorado, Sept. 17, 2021. The PTE cost roughly $2.2 million and allows the 2nd Space Operations Squadron to train i’s operators in-house ensuring Guardians are ready to conduct space operations at all times.
