2 SOPS opens new training emulator
SCHRIEVER SPACE FORCE BASE, Colo. — U.S. Space Force Lt. Col. Michael Schriever, 2nd Space Operations Squadron commander, provides remarks during the ribbon cutting ceremony for the new Positional Training Emulator on Schriever Space Force Base, Colorado, Sept. 17, 2021. The PTE will be used by combat mission-ready operators in the GPS enterprise to include all students going through GPS mission qualification training and instructors from 2nd SOPS, 50th Operation Support Squadron, 19th Space Operations Squadron and the 310th OSS.
