USSPACECOM commander visits Deltas 2, 3
Space Delta 2 leadership brief U.S. Army Gen. James H. Dickinson, commander, U.S. Space Command, and U.S. Marine Corps Master Gunnery Sgt. Scott Stalker, USSPACECOM command senior enlisted leader, Jan. 12, 2021, at Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado. During their visit, Dickinson and Stalker video-conferenced with DEL 2 members for a deeper understanding of day-to-day operations, challenges and successes. DEL 2, one of eight mission-oriented Deltas within the USSF prepares, and presents assigned and attached forces for the purpose of executing combat-ready Space Domain Awareness operations to deter aggression and, if necessary, fight to protect and defend the U.S. and its allies from attack in, through and from space.
