Space Force gains first professional military education center
Members of the Forrest L. Vosler Non-Commissioned Officer Academy gather for a photo after participating in a ceremony that transferred the academy from the Air Force into the U.S. Space Force Oct. 14, 2020, at Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado. Before the transfer, the academy fell under the command of the Thomas N. Barnes Center for Enlisted Education. The education center now falls under the provisional Space Training and Readiness Delta, which serves as the parent organization for a number of education, training and test and evaluation units for the Space Force.
