21 LRS helps the SMC deliver supplies downrange
Airmen from the 21st Logistics Readiness Squadron, the 22nd Airlift Squadron watch as a K Loader is directed after putting cargo pallets onto a C-5M Super Galaxy, April 27, 2020 on Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado. The 21st LRS loaded the cargo to assist in a Space and Missile Systems Center mission to bring supplies to warfighters down range. The 21st LRS was able to coordinate with the SMC, receive the cargo, inspect it and have it on a plane in less than two weeks. This fast turnaround was to match the speed of the SMC Rapid Reaction Branch needed the cargo to be sent downrange. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Andrew J. Bertain)
