Emergency Management embraces challenges, sets standards during COVID-19
PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. – Staff Sgt. Hannah Jones, noncommissioned officer in charge of Cheyenne Mountain Air Force Station emergency management mission support, poses for a photo in the emergency management warehouse, April 19, 2020, on Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado. While much of the force implemented teleworking procedures, Jones created a virtual readiness challenge for her flight to stay up-to-date on training and fitness requirements. The challenge garnered attention from the Air Force emergency management community, and has been implemented force-wide, including within the Air Force Reserve and Air National Guard components.
