Thule AB hosts annual Armed Forces Day
THULE AIR BASE, Greenland -- March 30-April 1, 2018 is when Thule Air Base, Greenland, hosted Armed Forces Day activities, an annual tradition between the United States, Denmark, Greenland and Canada. At this event, more than 60 Greenlanders from local communities visited Thule AB. Some took a dog sled team for a three-day trip across the Greenlandic Ice Cap through -40 degree Fahrenheit windchills to the base. (U.S. Air Force photo)
