10th Space Warning Squadron Change of Command

CAVALIER AIR FORCE STATION, ND -- Col. Devin Pepper, 21st Operations Group Commander, congratulates the inbound Commander of the 10th Space Warning Squadron, Lt Col Stephen Hobbs, at a change of command ceremony, June 23, 2017, at Cavalier Air Force Station, N.D. The 10th SWS operates and maintains the world's most capable phased-array radar system at the Air Force’s only CONUS Isolated installation. The Perimeter Acquisition Radar Attack Characterization System continuously provides critical missile warning and space surveillance data to North American Aerospace Defense Command, United States Strategic Command, and regional combatant commanders. PARCS monitors and tracks more than half of all earth-orbiting objects to enable space situational awareness and space control.
