FORT CARSON, Colo. – Staff Sgt. Steven Fontana, 21st Civil Engineer Squadron Explosive Ordnance Disposal plans and intelligence NCO in charge, molds C-4 around a detonation cord at the bombing range on Fort Carson, Colo., Aug 31, 2016. In order for the detonation to function correctly, Fontana tightly molded the C-4 around the cord to eliminate any air pockets that could disrupt the operation.
