Gold Knight presented to CMAFS 50th planning team

PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. – The Cheyenne Mountain Air Force Station 50th Anniversary Planning Team received the Gold Knight Award at Peterson Air Force Base, Colo., June 22, 2016. The Gold Knight Award is a monthly award that recognizes outstanding efforts by a team. The CMAFS 50th Planning Team orchestrated the event, which resulted in more than 300 distinguished visitors in attendance, crafted a visually stunning, self-guided history tour of the North Tunnel and blast doors, and executed an unprecedented media campaign, including multiple celebrity visitors.
