Peterson Airmen prepare equipment for shipment

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Staff Sgt. Ryan Rodgers, 21st Logistics Readiness Squadron air terminal operations, ratchets a piece of equipment down in a C-17 Globemaster III, from Travis Air Force Base, Calif., at the Arrival/Departure Airlift Control Group, Oct. 1, 2015. Once the C-17 landed, it was taxied to the A/DACG where Rodgers, his team, Airmen from the 21st Airlift Squadron and Soldiers from 10th Special Force Group, 3rd Battalion unloaded the cargo. The 21st LRS air terminal team load and unload every deploying and returning Army and Air Force unit from Fort Carson and the surrounding military installation in the Pikes Peak region.
