Thule marks Armed Forces Day
THULE AIR BASE, Greenland – Greenlandic dogsled teams race to the finish during the Thule Armed Forces Day celebration April 5, 2015. Armed Forces Day is an annual event where Thule AB opens its gates to promote interaction and a cultural learning experience with local Greenlandic villagers through dogsled races, craft sales, a buffet at the Top of the World Club and a chance for a ride in an Air Greenland helicopter.
