PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. -- Possibly the most unique building in the museum complex is the original terminal for the Colorado Springs Municipal Airport. Built in 1941 the building is a great example of the Art Deco style of architecture and presently serves as the entry point of the museum and its historic district.
