Airman shares story of PTSD
PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. – Staff Sgt. Holden Montgomery, Air Force Space Command administration support technician, poses for a photograph outside of the Air Force Space Command headquarters building Oct. 29. ‘Monty’ deployed in 2010 to Kandahar Air Field, Afghanistan during which his base was subject to 86 rocket attacks and two ground attacks. As a result of his experiences he was diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder. Now receiving treatment for PTSD, Monty continues to serve his country doing the job he loves.
