STEM Rocks Peterson

PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. – Attendees learn about electric power line dangers from volunteers at the Colorado Springs Utilities booth during STEM Rocks! at the Peterson Air and Space Museum Aug. 23. The volunteers wanted children and parents alike to practice safety near power lines as the human body is an excellent conductor of electricity. Children and parents could visit nearly 30 booths to learn about Science, Technology, Engineering and Math in a fun, carnival-like environment. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt. Jared Marquis)
