HAWC offers custom workouts
PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. – Senior Airman Marc Thompson, 21st Aerospace Medicine Squadron diet therapy technician, demonstrates how to use the Vo2Max machine at Team Pete’s HAWC Sept. 27. Vo2Max is a tool used to determine a person’s maximum oxygen consumption, which identifies specific heart rate zones. Using these targeted zones, the HAWC creates more efficient and effective workouts for their patients. (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt. Aaron Breeden)
