Fire trainer
PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. -- A fire rages in a mock bedroom at the 21st Civil Engineer Squadron fire department structural training facility. Fire fighters used this training fire to practice different techniques and spray patterns, and are able to see first-hand how it affects a fire. The two-floor facility is also used for training on barbecue and kitchen fires, as well as practicing roof cut-aways and rappelling. (U.S. Air Force photo/Craig Denton)
