Cookies for the Troops

PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. – A tin filled with white chocolate macadamia nut cookies await to be bundled and distributed to the Airmen of Peterson Air Force Base. These cookies are just a few of the more than 6,000 cookies donated as part of the Cookies for the Troops drive led by the Peterson, Schriever, Cheyenne Mountain Spouses’ Club. Members of the PSC Spouses’ Club volunteered their time, using the baked goods to spread homemade, holiday cheer to the more than 400 Airmen residing in the Team Pete dorms and also to the 30 on-base squadrons running 24-hour operations.
