Sharp Warrior

PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. – Senior Master Sgt. Brian Smith (left), a representative of the Pikes Peak Top 3, presents the December 2013 Sharp Warrior Award to Senior Airman Alayna Deherrera from the 21st Mission Support Group staff. Deherrera provides excellent customer service and displays impeccable professionalism as the MSG workflow manager, a position normally held by an NCO. She is the driving force behind the 21 MSG's 100 percent on-time-rate for all taskers sent to the 21st Space Wing, 14th Air Force and Air Force Space Command. Deherrera not only keeps the MSG front office on track to meet all deadlines, but also tracks suspenses for six squadrons and one detachment. She expertly coordinates hundreds of officer performance reports, enlisted performance reports, decorations and promotion recommendation forms, ensuring that members’ records accurately portray the hard work they contribute.
