Month of the Military Child
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Kindergarten students and teachers from McAuliffe Elementary School pose for a picture in their purple shirts April 15 showing support for Month of the Military Child. The color purple represents joint operations or all services connected; the majority of children at McAuliffe Elementary School are military children whose parents belong to all branches of service. Other schools and administrators in District 11 also wore purple in support of Month of the Military Child. (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt. Jacob Morgan)
