SkyFall

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Peterson Fire Department, along with other fire departments from around the area, were some of the first responders to the simulated airplane crash on the southern end of the Colorado Springs Airport. The Peterson AFB Fire Department is the first responder for any aircraft crashes through a mutual aid agreement with the city of Colorado Springs. The event was part of a larger emergency response exercise called SkyFall, which consisted of a massive collaboration between multiple agencies throughout the Colorado Springs region.
