Condor Crest exercise
PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. – Airmen from the 21st Security Forces Squadron wearing protective riot gear form a barrier against a crowd of unruly protesters during the Condor Crest exercise May 9. The quarterly exercise is designed to test and evaluate base readiness for real-word events. The exercise culminated in a mock explosion at the 21st Medical Group headquarters building which allowed emergency responders from security forces, the medical group, civil engineering and others to rehearse their interaction and collaboration in response to the crisis.
