Thunderbirds take flight
PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. – Fire Chief Christopher Riley, Colorado Springs Fire Department, climbs into the backseat of an F-16 Fighting Falcon May 27. The Thunderbirds flying unit, officially known as the U.S. Air Force Air Demonstration Squadron, was at Peterson AFB to perform at this year’s Air Force Academy graduation ceremony May 28.
