International Mud Day
PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. – Children at the Peterson Child Development Centers got a little dirty June 27 using brushes, paper on easels, cups and play dishes to paint and make mud pies. As part of International Mud Day celebration, children were encouraged to be creative and enjoy the fun of just playing in mud. “Many of us played with simple tools such as mud, sticks and rocks when we were younger and we tend to forget what a creative, sensory and fun activity it can be,” said Karen Morgan, 21st Force Support Squadron Child Development Center.
