21st Medical Group change of command
PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. – Col. John Shaw, 21st Space Wing commander, passes the 21st Medical Group flag to Col. Susan Moran during the 21st MDG change of command ceremony July 2 at the Peterson Fire Department. Prior to arriving at Peterson, Moran was the deputy director of Medical Services at the Air Force Medical Operations Agency at Joint Base San Antonio. As the 21st MDG commander, Moran leads a team of more than 550 medical professionals providing healthcare and mission-readiness support for more than 25,000 active duty, retired and family member beneficiaries of the 21st Space Wing, 50th Space Wing, Colorado Springs community and 22 geographically separated units around the globe.
