Vacation bible school
PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. — Children perform a play at the conclusion of this year’s vacation bible school, held at the Peterson Chapel July 7-11. The theme this year was ‘SonTreasure Island’, where more than 50 children learned about bible verses, all under the backdrop of shipwrecks and buried treasure. Other activities included crafts, games and music. “The kids had a blast and were learning about the Bible at the same time,” said Cyndi Lilienthal, Peterson Chapel religious education coordinator.
