Peterson firefighters train with Cimarron Hills
PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. — Prepared to fight as a team, service members with the Peterson Air Force Base Fire Department (in tan and silver protection gear) conduct live training with the Cimarron Hills Fire Department (in black protective gear) at a special training facility on base. All firefighters in attendance had a chance to practice specialized tactics against a real fire. The all steel-training structure ‘fueled’ by a massive propane tank is designed to resemble a C-130 airframe and provides training for firefighters with a realistic scenario to learn and maintain their skills.
