12th SWS gets new leader
THULE AIR BASE, Greenland – Col. David Miller, 21st Operations Group commander, passes the 12th Space Warning Squadron guidon to Lt. Col. Kelly Easler during a change of command ceremony July 11. The 12th SWS is one of the 21st Space Wing’s 23 geographically separated units, and conducts continuous, real-time missile warning and missile defense vital to the security of North America, detects and tracks earth-orbiting objects in support of space situational awareness and cares for and develops disciplined and innovative Airmen.
