Peterson Airmen showcased at Cripple Creek parade

Chief Master Sgt. William Carter leads a contingent of Airmen Aug. 16 during the 2008 Cripple Creek Honors America’s Armed Forces parade in the Colorado town. During the honorary weekend, a memorial dedication for fallen servicemembers was held for those who’ve made the ultimate sacrifice from the Pikes Peak area of the state, a fireworks display and a concert headlined by country singer Sammy Kershaw.
