Wing commander reunites with, recognizes new U.S. citizen

Tonie Gingrass (left) is presented a gift from Mollie Raymond, wife of Col. Jay Raymond, 21st Space Wing commander, Aug. 27 after she received the wing’s longevity award for 20 years of service. The award, presented at Peterson Air Force Base’s Silver Spruce Golf Course, culminates Mrs. Gingrass’s career at the golf course where she is retiring soon and her recent acceptance in becoming a U.S. citizen after moving the U.S. 32 years ago. Colonel Raymond also pointed out during the ceremony he originally met Mrs. Gingrass several years ago when he was a captain. Chief Master Sgt. Timothy Omdal, 21st SW command chief, was also present.
