AMDS Family Physical Training
The 21st Aerospace Medicine Squadron has taken a new spin on unit physical fitness. At 5:30 p.m., Sept. 19, members of the 21st AMDS and their families gathered at Peterson’s outdoor track to share the evening together. The evening started with a 25-minute run/walk, followed by relay races. Following the physical training, squadron members gathered inside the Aerospace Physiology Building for food, camaraderie, and face painting for the children. Lt. Col. Jeanine Czech, commander of the 21st AMDS, introduced the idea of family fitness to the squadron and has implemented a Team Aerospace Award for the flight with greatest participation and spirit during the fitness session. The first family fitness session was a success and a blast for all involved. The squadron plans to hold the family sessions twice a year. (Courtesy photo)
