Wingman Day 2008

Staff Sgt. Tonya Patton, 21st Medical Operations Squadron, times the team members of the 21st Comptroller Suadron during the Pile Move portion of Wingman’s Day, held at Peterson AFB on Oct. 10. In the Pile Move, objects of varying weight and size must be transported by team members. Each team member can only be used once, forcing teams to pre-plan their race for the best time. The Air Force established the Wingman program to encourage Airmen and their families to look out for each other and to intervene when signs of stress are observed. It's a promise, a pledge, a commitment between Airmen. (Air Force photo/Rob Bussard)
