Energy Awareness Month 2008
Shawn Ooley, Air Force Space Command, and first place men's division winner of the Energy Awareness Fun Run Oct. 9 and Brie Ward, 21st Civil Engineer Squadron, and first place women's division winner, congratulate eachother after the race. October is Air Force Energy Awareness Month and like the many dedicated months of the year, October is be filled with a myriad of informational events. But more than the picnics, the 5K awareness runs, the free light bulbs, and fun events, Energy Awareness Month is first and foremost an educational process. Knowing the problem is often the first step to solving it. (Air Force Photo/Larry Hulst)
