Marathon
“In the last few years, the U.S. Air Force has made a dramatic and positive shift in focusing on physical fitness,” said 6th SWS Commander Lt. Col. Max Lantz, embracing his family after crossing the finish line of the Cape Cod Marathon, Oct. 26. “It’s been a great change and I see the benefits every day—physical health, positive outlook on life, and increased mental capacity. As leaders it’s important for us to communicate what we believe. Talking is a good start, but it’s our actions that get all the attention. I’m not saying that leaders have to run marathons, but you should be leading from the front.” (Courtesy photo/Leslie Lantz)
