21st Space Wing Civilian of the Year -- Category I
Ms. Jennifer Turkington, 7th Space Warning Squadron, 21st Operations Group, earned countless recognitions, including being named as a 21st Space Wing Air Force Association Civilian of the Year nominee. Her amazing drive, dedication to mission accomplishment and expert organizational skills were key to the superb impressions her unit made to 46 NATO distinguished visitors. Ms. Turkington’s commitment to the base and her community are equally impressive. She led and participated in 29 booster club fund raisers and ran three 5K races to raise $30,000 in support of leukemia patient and breast patient cancer awareness. (U.S. Air Force photo)
