21st Space Wing Senior Non-commissioned Officer of the Year
Master Sgt. Mark Bronson, 21st Medical Support Squadron, 21st Medical Group, was selected as Air Force Space Command’s "Outstanding Radiology Senior Noncommissioned Officer of the Year." He displayed exemplary leadership abilities, performing duties as both squadron superintendent and the X-ray NCO in charge, directing six flights and 110 personnel, successfully treating more than 1,100 patients. Additionally, he oversaw $24 million of medical assets including four squadrons, 12 clinics and 40 Health Care Providers supporting more than 142,000 beneficiaries. Sergeant Bronson chaired the Team Pete monthly promotion ceremony committee, leading 15 team members and recognizing 275 deserving promotees. Finally, as the President of Medical Group Top-3 and interim Pikes Peak Top-3 treasurer, he supported six U.S. Air Force Academy football games, raising more than $4,000 for enlisted programs.
