Master Sgt. Steven Sandy, 332nd Expeditionary Civil Engineer member, continues work on a CE heavy equipment mural. Since their arrival, the deployed 21st Civil Engineer Squadron members have poured 1,894 cubic meters of concrete to increase aircraft parking and maintenance space on the base’s flightline. They have completed taxiway repairs, and built a 4,000 square-foot concrete pad for a munitions storage area and foreign object and debris checkpoint. The team is working on projects to increase the unmanned aerial vehicle footprint in this area of responsibility. Sergeant Sandy is deployed from Peterson Air Force Base, Colo. (U.S. Air Force photo)
