Change of Command
PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo.--Lt. Col. Elvert Gardener (right) assumes command of the 76th Space Control Squadron in a ceremony June 8 at Building 2028. Col. Chris Crawford (left), 21st Operations Group commander, passes the squadron’s guidon to Colonel Gardner. Lt. Col. Jennifer Moore relinquished 76th SPCS command during the ceremony. Prior to his assignment as the 76th SPCS commander, Colonel Gardner served as the chief of the Space Superiority Programming Branch at Headquarters Air Force Space Command's Plans, Programs and Analysis Directorate. Colonel Moore's next assignment is deputy commander of the 595th Operations Group at Schriever Air Force Base, Colo. (U.S. Air Force photo)
