Up and away
Workers attach crane lines to the McDonnell F-101B “VooDoo,” which was moved from the West Gate area Dec. 28 to make room for new outbound driving lanes. It took workers about four hours to move the 20,000 pound craft. The aircraft will be refurbished and reinstalled elsewhere after the West Gate project is done. The Army Corps of Engineers construction project is on time and estimated to be completed in January 2008. Photo by Rick McKittrick/U.S. ACOE
