Rumble in the Rockies
U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. -- Staff Sgt. Brian Burmeister (left), 21st Civil Engineer Squadron fire department, hands a baton to Senior Airmen John Dannen, 21st CES fire department, during a “Rumble in the Rockies” relay challenge June 26 at the U.S. Air Force Academy. Six Peterson firefighters competed in the two day event with several of their civilian counterparts. According to Sergeant Burmeister, “Rumble in the Rockies” is designed to test firefighter skills and strengths with multiple timed contests.
